Out in the crowd
Seeking a good time to refresh my view, and this would be a great weekend for it.
Do not like the rather complicated issues format that has developed and am wondering about another vision.

| Embracing the unseen. |
There is a trend for me to get somewhat too cute with an increasing slide toward ragsheet controversy. With growing traffic, an audience presence is creeping in. What with all the bells and whistle work taking up time, it is all kind of crowding me out.
History as I was taught in public schools was quite illogical, in my mind, since they taught it, as it were, in a mix list of small still photos instead of sweeping "moving pictures".
This was, again in my view, largely responsible for the out of context view of reality. Continued in Specific History link, in side column. Coming at the Corner Table: The Ideal Form of Government.
Moses is the only servant of God with whom God spoke face to face. When Moses asked God who He was that he may say who sent him, God answered I am that I am. If God says who He is then that is the definition I go by. God is existence.
All this written by me is my perspective. I speak not only my perspective but also my truth, just like everyone else theirs. I write for my own benefit. I believe no one can persuade anyone else. Everyone persuades themselves. I can only persuade myself and only the Holy Spirit has convicted me. There are many spirits, some no doubt with power, but I only trust the Holy Spirit.
Jesus was the final sacrifice as is well known. Sacrificing up to His crucifixion was quite common since the beginning of time from my understanding.
But it was quite a different act in most quarters in this manner, it was done to appease a god, the god, or a platoon of gods. I tend to label it an act against the innocent, similar to abortion. In Carthage during the struggle with Rome for domination of the Mediterranean, it was bluntly an lucrative way for individuals to increase their material well being. Girls were usually candidates for sacrifice and boys also unless they were thought needed as soldiers. Babies were thrown into a pit of fire. According to today's witnesses, methods are far too repulsive to describe and even more so to watch.
Carthage had a superior general in Hannibal but Scorpio from my memory was the general who led the victory for Rome. Hannibal chastised his Carthaginians for choosing the lush life. I have never heard of the Romans practicing sacrifice. The Carthage defeat was a clear victory for abortion, historical style. Choosing the pretension of abortion as a sacrifice to gods, was a losing preposition. All one has to do is, do the math.
Since sacrifice was attributed to appeasement of some god or other, this meant, since the tree is known by its' fruit, the act of sacrifice is of an evil nature. The innocent are even today prime targets for secret sacrifice practices according to current reports and all this is of course, of demonic origin.

But with Jesus as the final sacrifice it was not for the benefit or appeasement of God, but rather was to free us, and the people practicing it, of all future sacrificing by God giving His Son so as to not only end sacrificing but to free us of all sin. Not only the sin of sacrifice.
This then is a positive act. But now comes the central core of Christianity which is believing He rose again giving us eternal life. In addition we could now go directly to God Himself without any intermediary. All this is a first from my knowledge and has not been duplicated in any way before or since.

Surprising how much of ourselves we reveal when we speak of others. When I speak, I speak like most, for my own benefit. Other times when something is right in front of us it is the most hidden. Continued in Specific Theory of Existence.

The US Constitution emphasizes one primary purpose, the defense of the individual against aggression of majority groups. Individuals need the group to function but groups do not need the individual.

The Constitution was written for one purpose so that the government would be required to protect the individual from government and not establish any religious entity to compete or supplant the individual's choice by influencing religion in any way.
Protection of individuals are authorized, not by any one person or groups of people. It was removed from the hands of men, attributed to God Himself and there was no other. Eventually for the first time ever, anyone already in bondage or slavery was in due course declared free under this world view. It was at great cost in blood.
There was great benefit in consumption because freedom afforded a great reward in production. What came to be called the protestant work ethic accompanied the new arrivals who were forcibly driven out of the Western Europe. Today they still represent the largest ethnic group in the US.
This unrewritten capsulized history, told first by those who lived it, were more greatly justified in writing than those forced to create an opposing slant with secondary views as their sole support.
How long can I let questions lie?
Question with answers that will provide me the faith to gain the unseen? Belief might not be so easily attained as mere agreement, or just going along with the belief of someone else.

| A different view of the same thing. |
....God draws those whom He will. Many did not follow Jesus after that. What then if you are oriented toward as many as possible, even everyone, being accepted by God? Or if singularly, you are in the public relations career field, then your heart should've "sank" to discover how many, previously won over to him, now suddenly left His ministry. Jesus lost a lot of votes there! But Jesus first comment did not reveal any such "sinking".
Outside the fold?
Therein asks the question, should not God want everyone in His fold? This answers the question how anyone who was not even aware of the Jesus' ministry or being completely unaware of the very existence of Jesus being judged as climbing up another way? Jesus also said specifically that there those who were sheep of another pasture. Wonder how other people handle that? Then what about those who are plain too stupid. Is even that fair?
I guess it depends on whether I am sheep of another fold myself. If I question God's decision then maybe I should be God since I am better at it? I at one time did actually decide something like that when I blamed God for thinking like the pastor a team of great deacon bowlers in the church league.
I discovered eventually my thinking was a logical fallacy. It is still embarrassing when I think back on that kettle of fish. My particular fallacy that fooled me was misplaced authority. Not entirely sure as I speak, but it certainly looks like I have the same thing on my hands yet again. The struggle to believe, to strength my faith, is never ending.
The devil slips in doubt wherever he can. There are places worse than a favorite barroom. I should've watched out for churches. I can lose my faith in a church quicker than W.C. Fields teaching me to play poker. Church and Faith at Pulpit Rock
