God is a Jealous God for a Reason 

According to my view those who commit extreme grievous crimes against humanity are normally, if I may use that word, possessed by  an evil spirit or even a host of evil spirits. 

Just as Satan sends his agents to churches more so than barrooms, he is behind all destruction he can muster and then blame it on someone else.

If the devil cannot convince anyone to disbelieve Jesus altogether, he will chip away instead against Jesus' power.

Jesus is love and love is forgiving all. He drove out demons from people, and as He told His disciples, some demons come out harder than others. He told them the harder kind t requires greater faith to explain to them why they were not successful in healing a man's son. 

Jesus tells us to obey His commandments for a reason. He wants to keep us from being enticed to disobey His commandments because if not there is a penalty that must be paid.

According to Jesus the flesh is weak and cannot help us. Everything Jesus tells me will work out why in the end. For my part, my sincere desire is to follow His instructions for my own sake. 

God already figured it out

For those who do, we will understand everything when we are one in the spirit, which is my hope. The important thing for me is not to judge so I will not be judged, not to condemn, so that I will not be condemned. 

That, to my mind, is so that all revenge will be for God to do, not for me. This is so that I will escape and not be subject to the responsibility of assuming the role of God myself.

Jesus says what He understands is what God tells Him and He told it all to us. John 17 I understand it is all for my own benefit if I trust Him.

Back Where I Started?

I do not have an answer to everything. When I was born I did not know anything. Many of us tabla rosa types start out by examining the other end of things, our toes.

Since everything seemed fino fino you could not talk me out of anything new. But if you had warned me that I would be promptly hung up my bare arse in grande dishabille, spanked to help me breathe, that I would get cold, hungry, and pay taxes, I would not agree to any of it.

So it will be or is now all over again. I hang onto this life resisting change in a world of changes, doubtful of eternity where time is always in the present.

I learned, I studied, I reasoned answers to quite a few questions, but in the end I was stuck with even more questions than I started. All I learned was that I was even more ignorant than I thought. 

Everyone has a different orbit

So what do I do now? I cannot prove anything, except that is, proof to my own satisfaction just like everyone else their proofs from their orbits. 

I believe we all will get just what we believed, if it was strong enough, not just a weakish agreement with someone else. I wonder how come life is so short in view of the fact that we are such a long time gone, gone out of mind, far across the Sea of Lethe?

Most Central Verse

Most Central Chapter

John 3:16 has to be most central verse in the Bible without any further comment. But the most central chapter in the Bible I believe has to be John 17.

Firstly it is translated by the Holy Spirit as every word being from Jesus Himself, first to last verse. Chapter is all red and known as the High Priestly Prayer. 

God Gave His Only Son

The entire chapter is Jesus praying to the Holy Father the night before His crucifixion while His disciples slept. Jesus keeps making the same points over and over.

One is that He was Sent. These have believed I was sent, sent by God. Jesus was sent, also He and God and His disciples are ONE. I know of a believer who started their day every day reading this entire chapter daily until the red print was soaked by their forehead.

If one is one with God and one with God and Jesus, they are one with the Holy Spirit, which is known as the Holy Trinity. Those who agree have their sins forgiven and can approach God without a rabbi tied to a rope. 

Born again believers are all one. Those who do not know what one means are not familiar with the spirit or for that matter, anything spiritual it would seem to me.

Power to become Sons

Jesus was given power to make me a son of God. Jesus is the only begotten Son of God. Who gave Him this power? God, His Father, the Holy Father, sent Jesus and gave Jesus, His Son, this power. 

God, as the Holy Father, is the first member of the Holy Trinity, and Jesus, as His Son, is the second. They both are one, they make up together the Holy Spirit. 

The Holy Trinity, is described dramatically and in all respects fully and repetitively in John 17. We are all one spiritually. "One" has to be saved, spiritually themselves, to appreciate the spiritual.

Why I love Jesus

Bible verses I remember most and more easily is the beginning of the Gospel of John concluding with the observation that the law came thru Moses but thru Jesus came love and truth. There are those who make the law and rules their god. 

Paul, God's mostly unlikely & productive convert, a former doctrinaire strictualist, was foremost in opening Jesus up to the Gentiles.

Also Paul was very effective in highlighting the difference between the eternal Spirit and the temporary flesh. He made more than one reference to all things seen coming from the unseen. 

Then there are verses that dramatize how Jesus loves and appreciates our gratitude, which is our form of love. I cannot read verses like these without being consumed with praise and worship, carrying me up to Jesus.

One day we will see Him as He is, and we will be like Him.

When I look evenings above me toward the Father of Lights I am looking at God asking me, His question on display. He is asking me, are you wondering how I ever thought of all the lights up in the sky?

Anyone who does not believe in God
will have to just be their own God.

I don't think I could even come up the concept idea of lights. The physical scientist is learning that the universe is expanding. Our awareness of what already is, is all that is expanding. 

I do not believe there is any size of the universe, only our awareness thinks that way because of our little barrel we are living in.  How could anyone but God ever even think of such an idea of stars and, hung it all on nothing yet?

Certain Bible verses personally impacting

Memorizing & Meditating: There is so much great reading in the Bible that if I selectively mediate on them I believe a person can have a very emotional, even  ecstatic, experience.

I knew one such person who experienced a similar event while reading Galatians. It has become one of mine now, ranking high on my list of favorite verses I print up and read and reread often. For me it is an unlikely verse. It is one of my prayer verses.

In Galatians are the fruits of the Spirit against which there is no law. They said while reading the passage about the fruits of the Spirit they were consumed from their head down to the chest by an overwhelming  sensation of pleasure. 

They pleaded with me to remember the verse because they thought they would not remember it. I forgot it but years later, I do not recall how many, I suddenly did remember not too far back by the key word fruits.

I treasure it for this reason and it has captured me emotionally ever since. What an experience from such a plain ordinary verse! Gal 5:22-23

Belief Both Great & Small

Only Way to Obtain Greater Faith

Agreeing with an emotional subjective sermon does not quite make any great faith in my sense of things. Sometimes the name of Jesus nor anyone else is ever even mentioned as I noted earlier.

But emotion is power even so, when abused in one/s views just the same. This thread is "maybe" finished when a headline is fixed. 

The only way to gain greater faith or even faith at all. is to read the Bible. This is said clearly and simply in the Bible itself. I would only add that one should read often and to reread a list of one's favorite verses over and over, studying them and meditating on them, taking them in, and enjoying them emotionally.

Deciding If Faith Will Fold

But Not Today

I believe one can be born again while still in the flesh. The idea I am in this changing world of the flesh is for that very reason, to entrance my unchanging spiritual existence.

So I am in this changing world of the flesh but what if I am, even slightly, reticent to fully  embrace or accept the unchanging eternity of the spiritual? I think many wonder, that is that the flesh does not want to lose any life or give anything up instinctually.

But, even if not, can I make it happen true by belief  solely alone, by believing strongly enough? 

So I, as I've observed before, I fully know and accept the fact that I will die someday, but not today! 

I strongly sense I am in a loop, where I unknowingly assume I will live forever. Has God ordained that time is going to fool me every single time or am I going to
