Writing is like reading...
Writing is like making out your own income taxes. Both take a lot of courage but not really too much courage when one thinks about it. Hemingway thought perhaps too much about it. He said to write you have to open up your veins and bleed. Guess he did plenty of that alright. I think if you can talk, then you can write.
Biggest problem one can run into with talking, is that if you start to say something in a group, say four or five, and before you can get your chips into the mix quick enough, someone up and asks, "Is this going to a long story?"
