If someone were to say and believe there is no God, then he would have to be God himself to say it.
No one has enough information to say it, nor can they logically prove a negative.
So then they have to be their own God with a lot of explaining to do. As for myself I believe the mind is a physical organ and in time will decay along with the rest of the body. When the full spirit is come to us and along with answers, what if there are likely still questions remaining?
I always wondered how God could hold accountable anyone who did not have the brains to figure things out. First, Jesus said for anyone to figure things out they would first have to be drawn to God by God. Then elsewhere attendant to this I believe He said there were many not of His pasture.
He lost many followers after saying this and the assumption was left in force and continues among many today. I suspect this is another arena where one's faith becomes dominant. One day when questions become answered we will find ourselves left with more questions than we expected.
