Trees are Known by their Fruit
If someone does not believe there is a God they probably do not believe in anything but their worldly view. They are left with only this world's physical science and flesh of this world, without any sense of spirit.
There are those who believe something can come out of nothing, or there is no purpose in their existence by what they give and take out. They can do anything they want without any sense of identity. I find evidence for another view.
The brain, I believe, is an organ as any other. Our entire physical existence is one of growth, whether or not it visually takes place. If there is growth it soon declines. Not only that, we physically change from our early appearances until everyone we ever knew has proceeded us and we are left alone. Making friends with all younger people, I claim, will eventually be a Dorian Grotesk failure.
We can see other people clearly but when a real emotionally close person dies, suddenly we can see our own weaknesses so much more clearly as well. This opportunity fades, but the flash of the truth is there. I think that that experience is a hint of seeing things as they are, that comes out of an insightful flash of the spirit.
So, it is easy for God to forgive. He knows all, well ahead of time. But we should forgive for our own sake even if we cannot see all in the end.
