If There is No God, Then
One has to be God Themself
Ty Cobb told Joe Dimaggio not to waste too much time talking to radio interviewers, it would wear him down and hurt his game. Ty Cobb was the first great baseball player and the first to be inducted into the hall of fame. He asked a sport writer on one occasion do you think they will ever forget?
Proof exists to each satisfaction. |
Babe Ruth was the second and he is gradually being forgotten by those who never saw him play. Joe Dimaggio was the next generation, but Cobb did not seem to know it. A forgot statute was unearthed in Europe some time ago, apparently of a famous chariot driver. No one remembers him, or what his name even was. But he existed unknown.
Everyday uncountable individuals mention the name of Jesus, spanning generations and eras. It has never stopped. Not only is Jesus' name remembered, but it is also spoken every single day, quoted and venerated.
All that without Jesus writing a single word down Himself. Some, who one has to suspect, do not like this. They question whether He ever even existed. Not lived, existed. There are those who can go only so far and then everything disappears for them. that is their spirit. If one cannot believe God exists, then I wonder how they can escape being God themselves. But do they have the faith for it?
