divide in order to multiply

To understand something in order to multiply our knowledge, we must first divide it. Instead of starting by learning our first numbers up to twelve, in the beginning we really only have to learn two, either a one or a zero. There are only two numbers and you divide your problem to be understood in two also. Depending on the point of your study, it should be relevant. For instance in order to understand politics, which is essentially only gossip, I would divide people in two with the individual on one side and the consensus individual, primarily a peer pressured individual strongly influenced by the group.

By listing the characteristic of each, one can arrive at a good source of predictability for each. The individual needs the group, but the group does not need the individual. We see this most starkly in the Constitution which was written solely to protect the individual from the group. This is why the individual is always appealing to the Constitution while the group would like to evolve it out of the picture altogether. They also favor majority vote in the Electoral College where individuals in small groups can survive the domination of one massive single peer group, that individuals in smaller specific groups term mobocracy.
